Welcome to the first post of the Winterborne Kingston Village Blog.
My idea in doing this is to give any resident or others a platform to post comments about the village, tell others what is going on, somewhere to post articles on historical or current events and finally to air any complaints about the way you think the village is run and what can be done to improve it. We will also be asking for contributions from others such as Homewatch, Dorset Police, Dorset County Council etc who will be able to inform us of any activities we should know about.
Please use this site as it should be available to all for posting your comments good or bad.
I am also going to include pages for local businesses to advertise their services any any donations they chose to make will be passed on to village good causes such as the church, youth club etc.
To make this pay there will also be adverts for items that might be useful to you for things such as gardening gear to domestic cleaning items.These items are usually highly discounted and will save your petrol going to Bere Regis, Poole, Dorchester or Blandford
In the next post I am writing a brief description of where we are so if anyone else should happen to stumble across this they will know where we are.
